Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of nursing and allied healthcare programs such as: Vocational Nurse, Medical Imaging, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN pathway) as well as Dental Assistant and healthcare programs: Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant, Ultrasound Technology, MRI, Radiologic Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Imaging.
Gurnick Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sonography (Ultrasound) Online Instructor, Part-Time who are team players and available to work day shifts, synchronous & asynchronous for our San Jose, CA Campus. The classes to be taught will be in the Ultrasound Programs: General and RVT.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach online classes according to the assigned schedule, synchronous & asynchronous
- Follow the Syllabus and Daily Lesson Plans
- Evaluate student progress and assist with student growth and success
- Maintain current Continuing Medical Education (CME) according to the ARDMS requirements
Requirements
- BS Degree, Master’s Education preferred
- ARDMS, OB-GYN, Abdomen &, RVT – Current licensures in good standing within their discipline
- Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as a staff sonographer at an imaging facility/hospital/clinic
- 1-3 Years Experience as an instructor preferred
Hourly Pay Range, Part-Time: $45.00 – $55.00
