Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Imaging Supervisor to lead our radiology team in delivering exceptional imaging services. This pivotal role emphasizes clinical supervision, operational efficiency, and the maintenance of high-quality standards within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor radiology personnel, ensuring optimal shift operations and effective task distribution.
- Coordinate staffing requirements for the department to maintain organized workflows.
- Act as an essential communication conduit between the radiology staff and the Radiology Director, addressing departmental needs and updates.
- Conduct a variety of imaging procedures, including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, DXA, Mammography, CT, and OR Imaging as required.
- Ensure daily quality control measures are met, maintaining the highest standards in all imaging practices and equipment usage.
- Oversee inventory management and departmental supplies to guarantee resource availability.
- Collaborate closely with the Radiology Director on shift activities and the overall operation of the department.
Required Skills
- Proficient in conducting diverse imaging tests, including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, DXA, Mammography, CT, and OR Imaging.
- Strong leadership capabilities with proven supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining quality control and standards.
- Competency in inventory management practices.
Qualifications
- A solid background in radiology and imaging services is essential.
- Previous experience in a supervisory capacity within a clinical environment is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and acute attention to detail are required.
- An Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is mandatory, with Radiologic Technologist certification preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a radiology setting is required.
