Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Performing echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound procedures
- Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment
- Interpreting imaging data and providing preliminary findings to physicians
- Assisting in transesophageal echocardiography and stress testing
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Collaborating with cardiologists and other medical staff

Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- RDMS or RDCS certification
- Valid state licensure as a cardiac sonographer
- Experience in performing echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds
- Proficiency in ultrasound equipment operation and maintenance
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
