This Manager Imaging Services also oversees the East/South ambulatory locations.
Scope of Work
Plans, organizes, evaluates, controls, and manages all functions of one or more of the Imaging Departments. Modalities included, but not limited to: Computerized Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Interventional Radiology (IR), Diagnostic Radiology (DX), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography (Mammo), Ultrasound (US), Positron Emission Tomography (PET/CT) and Support Staff. Coordinates and implements Imaging programs, policies and procedures and assumes the responsibility for ensuring that all programs meet hospital accreditation standards and regulatory compliance. Manages the delivery of patient care, ensuring that patient care is provided according to established standards of care and practice. Accountable for enabling patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. Assumes accountability for managing the operational, financial, effectiveness and efficiency of the Radiology Department. Ability to lead employees on exceptional customer service skills.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent in business, management or other related area Required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, health care administration or other related area Preferred.
- 5 years of relevant experience in diagnostic radiology Preferred.
- 3 years of relevant experience in leadership Required.
- ARRT Radiologic Technologist Registration Preferred.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within ninety days Required.
