ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST

Description: Responsible for the operation of diagnostic ultrasound equipment for the performance of all dynamic ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision.

Requires:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an Ultrasound Training Program or graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or registry eligible in an Ultrasound modality.
Possess one (1) year of experience in Ultrasound Imaging
Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

Status: 2:30pm – 11:00pm (40 hours) Weekend rotation, 10:30am – 11:00pm (36 hours) Weekend rotation & Casual (Varied)
