Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our medical team. The Sonographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations for patients. This role requires a strong background in sonography and medical imaging.
Duties
- Conduct ultrasound scans to create images of patients' internal organs
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures
- Specialize in areas such as Obstetrics/Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) or other medical specialties
- Apply knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to accurately interpret images
- Provide exceptional patient care and maintain patient comfort throughout procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver accurate diagnostic radiology reports
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns
Experience
- Proficiency in sonography and medical imaging techniques
- Strong understanding of medicine, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Experience in Obstetrics/Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) ultrasound is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
