Job Title: Sonographer - OB/GYN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sonographer specializing in OB/GYN to join our team. The Sonographer will perform ultrasound scans on pregnant women to monitor the development of the fetus and ensure the health of the mother and baby. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of OB/GYN procedures and be able to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform ultrasound scans on pregnant women to assess fetal growth, monitor pregnancy complications, and detect abnormalities
- Provide clear and accurate images and reports to healthcare providers for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and address concerns
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of all patient information
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in OB/GYN ultrasound technology
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification as a Sonographer specializing in OB/GYN
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in OB/GYN ultrasound
- Strong knowledge of OB/GYN procedures and anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
