Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic techniques, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients as per physician orders.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and equipment setup for optimal imaging results.
- Evaluate images for quality and completeness, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain patient records and document findings in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to discuss findings and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during procedures.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on advancements in sonography practices.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Skills
- Proficient knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to sonography.
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac catheterization procedures is a plus.
- Familiarity with radiology practices and Level I/II Trauma Center protocols is desirable.
- Strong diagnostic evaluation skills with attention to detail in image acquisition.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in healthcare delivery.

Pay: $3,029.00 - $3,206.00 per week
