Who We Are
At Bexa, (www.mybexa.com) we’re on a mission to save lives by revolutionizing the way that women across the world experience care. That’s why we worked with women to reimagine the breast exam experience and make it better. We are a dynamic team of examiners, scientists, physicians, engineers, and change makers who are making a real difference in early detection – one Bexa Breast Exam at a time. Our innovative and transformational early detection technology (Bexa) produces a highly sensitive and specific map of the breast that accurately identifies any abnormal tissue. We combine this with a hand held point of care ultrasound to reduce referrals for additional imaging. The Bexa device is FDA cleared, is billed by a CPT code, and has clinical research validation from multiple University based studies. To date, we have performed over 125,000 exams on women and men. The device is safe for women of all ages, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and women with dense breast tissue.
What We Value
We are committed to fostering a highly supportive and winning culture that is built upon the following, guiding principles:
- Women Lead Our Way – Bexa exists to save lives by revolutionizing the way that women across the world experience care. Everything that we do is informed by, on behalf of, and advanced through the efforts of women.
- Addressing A Crisis – Each day, women are needlessly dying and suffering due to breast cancers that are completely survivable if detected early enough. That’s why every second counts in our fight to save the lives of women. We act with an extreme sense of urgency and a zealous commitment to leave no woman behind.
- Grounded in Science – Our proprietary, FDA-cleared Bexa Breast Exam uses patented pressure elastography technology. We are a dynamic team of examiners, scientists, physicians, engineers, and changemakers who draw upon the latest advances in science and medicine to power our mission to revolutionize the way that women across the world experience care.
- Mobilizing a Movement - We are proud to be at the vanguard of the global women’s empowerment movement. Together with our nonprofit arm, the Bexa Equity Alliance, we’re advancing the cause to revolutionize the way that women across the world experience care. Our growing community of women, companies, agencies, and organizations is united by our shared commitment to leave no woman behind.
