Atlantic Medical Imaging is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and enthusiastic Ultrasound Technologistto join the teams in the Vineland region of offices!
Scanning experience in General and Vascular is required for this position.

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for but not limited to:
- Performing all requested ultrasonographic exams in accordance with established policy and as per established hours of availability;
- Reviewing all patient requests for diagnostic procedures as to designated anatomical part and clinical history;
- Instructing patients regarding procedures and respects patient privacy at all times;
- Ensures that the ultrasound equipment is in excellent operational condition as per established Quality Control procedures; and
- Performing other duties as required and assigned.
This full time, 40 hour per week position includes a work schedule of Monday-Friday, primarily day shifts of 8am-4:30pm.Schedules are subject to change based on department needs.
The position will provide coverage in the AMI offices in Vineland, including the Vascular Institute on Sherman Avenue, Vineland Women's Center, S. Delsea Drive, and Chestnut Avenue.
- Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
- Certified by ARDMS in Abdomen or OBGYN or ARRT RT(S) with RVT/ RVS preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years work experience as Ultrasound Technologist who can perform all aspects of Sonography with expertise in General, Breast, Vascular, small parts and procedures.
- Knowledge of all Ultrasound procedures including, but not limited to, Venous Insufficiencies, Arterial Duplex (Upper/Lower Exts), PVR/Segmental/ABI (Upper/Lower Exts), Pre-op Vein Mapping (Upper/Lower Exts), Dialysis access evaluation and Abdominal duplex exams.
- CPR certification required prior to the start of employment.
- Computer proficiency and current overview and knowledge of all operations with Ultrasound, including all diagnostic medical ultrasound systems are required.
- Must be able to work independently or with minimal supervision and demonstrate flexibility in work assignments and schedule.
- Ability to produce high quality images and provide documentation accurately and precisely.
- Ability to exercise high standards of professionalism and teamwork.
- Ability to work well, multitask and prioritize effectively in a high volume fast paced environment.
- Demonstrate strong problem solving, decision making and communication skills.
