We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The Ultrasonographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using ultrasound technology. Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques during procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and assist in diagnosis.
- Document patient information, examination results, and any relevant medical history accurately in medical records.
- Stay updated with advancements in sonography and diagnostic radiology techniques to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for optimal performance.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to ultrasound procedures.
- Proficiency in sonography techniques and diagnostic radiology practices.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
