Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients using high-frequency sound waves to produce images of internal organs and tissues
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions they may have
- Position patients and equipment to obtain the best possible diagnostic images
- Analyze images and data to ensure quality and accuracy of the results
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and make diagnoses
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures
Experience:
- Experience in performing obstetric and gynecological scans a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret images
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
