POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for performing accurate cardiac, vascular, and carotid ultrasounds (dependent upon licensure).
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Perform routine cardiac and or vascular ultrasounds while complying with Cardiac Solutions protocol and ICAEL standards for ultrasound testing.
- Assess imaging in order to identify next steps per departmental protocol.
- Assist physicians by providing the measurements and pictures acquired during testing in an accurate, precise manner.
- Actively demonstrate a working knowledge of ultrasound techniques and principles to provide quality imaging.
- Consistently seek educational tools in order to stay current with professional registry and ICAEL standards.
- Completing patient exams and reports per departmental protocol.
- Participates in interdisciplinary team and facility meetings.
- Shares knowledge, experience, and education relevant to sonography with peers.
- Travels to all offices as needed.
- Other duties as assigned per the need of the organization and within scope of licensure.
