Travel Sonographers will be part of an internal BB Imaging “traveler bench” and you will get priority updates about travel assignments that become available with BB Imaging clinics across the United States. As a BB Imaging Travel Sonographer, you will be a vital lifeline for new clinic planning, training, and expansion coverage. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Perform sonographic procedures. (No surprise there!)
- Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
- Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
- Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out patient/fetus anomalies.
- Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
- Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.
- Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
- Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
- Cover a variety of clinical settings, including outreach clinics, predominantly in new and developing regions.
- Cover a variety of travel assignments as needed.
- Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
- Assist with onsite training of new hires as needed.
- Other duties assigned by managers.
IS THIS YOU?
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- 2+ years of ultrasound experience
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Knowledgeable of applied physics related to ultrasound
- Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
- Able to communicate effectively with physicians, clients, and team members
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?
- Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
- Multiple registries across modalities
RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS: Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
