Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac diagnostic tests on patients
- Analyze and interpret test results to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in echocardiography technology and techniques
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, particularly the cardiovascular system
- Proficiency in performing sonography and operating echocardiography equipment
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations, including assessing vital signs and interpreting test results
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures and their role in diagnosing heart conditions
- Comprehensive understanding of cardiovascular physiology and its impact on echocardiographic findings
- Excellent grasp of medical terminology related to cardiology and echocardiography
- Adherence to aseptic technique guidelines to ensure patient safety during procedures
