The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using high-frequency sound waves to capture images of internal organs and tissues. **Responsibilities:**
The registered Sonographer will perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Imaging Services Department’s Policy and Procedure Manual.
The registered ultrasound tech and will assist in assigned administrative task.
The registered Rad Tech will:
-verify patient and procedural information
-prepare patients for exams
-educate patients and family members
-perform exams
-process films
-communicate and transmit reports to physicians
-complie and organizesdata for radiologist
-file films
-stock, preparesand clean exam rooms
-may schedule patients for procedures
-may transport patients.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Sonography or a related field
- Current certification in Sonography or certification pending
- Certification- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in a least one of the advanced certifications.
- Proficiency in medical imaging and diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology and ultrasound technology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining aseptic technique
- Ability to lift and transport patients and equipment as needed
