Performs ultrasound imaging in the following areas: abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, neuro and neonatal heads. Demonstrates anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgement in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Available for call as requested. Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Education/Certification:
RDMS or eligible and/or ARRT with previous training and ultrasound experience. If eligible, must apply for certification testing within 12 months of employment; certification must be attained within 24 months of hire.
