Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary
Summary:
Produces and records high quality sonographic images for any current or potential problems in high risk pregnancies in accordance with practice protocols. Responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, performing all exams while providing a preliminary summary of findings to the Physician. Provide direct patient care that ensures efficient access to safe, quality and compassionate care, in an environment that is welcoming to patients and their families. Work in partnership with other healthcare professionals to provide the best medical care possible to all patients.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Graduate of an accredited medical sonography program.
Experience And Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
License/Certifications
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Obstetrics/Gynecology (ARDMS) certified.
- Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) certificate in the Nuchal Translucency (NT) scan (Preferred).
