Imaging Systems Engineer II (RadOnc)

Salary Range: $115k-$130k
On behalf of our client a private university located in Los Angeles, CA. We are seeking an Imaging Systems Engineer II that will be responsible for the operation, administration, and support of core clinical imaging systems (PACS, RIS, Voice Recognition) and ancillary systems within the Medical Enterprise. This role involves system maintenance, security, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and coordination of upgrades, working closely with clinicians, staff, and vendors to ensure system connectivity and functionality.
Main Responsibilities:
- Administer, support, and maintain Keck Clinical Imaging Systems. Provide on-call support for issue resolution, lead projects, and ensure system stability.
- Design and implement projects for Clinical Imaging Systems. Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with IS teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards. Administer and support enterprise-wide Clinical Imaging Systems.
- Evaluate and deploy third-party applications.
- Install and configure hardware/software per standards.
- Provide timely resolution of tickets and service requests.
- Support after-hours and weekend availability.
- Follow Change Management procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent work experience and 3+ years supporting clinical imaging technology.
- Experience with RIS, Radiology PACS, and other imaging systems.
- Proficiency in Varian Aria and Radiation Oncology workflows preferred. Knowledge of DICOM, HL7, IHE, and Imaging Modalities (XR, US, MRI, CT, Nuclear, Mammo, EKG).
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN networking and computer hardware.
