Manager of Diagnostic Imaging - Austin TX
Full-time, Days (No Weekends)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager of Diagnostic Imaging to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will collaborate with the Director to integrate department services with the hospital’s primary functions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service delivery, as well as continuously assessing and improving the department’s performance. This position also involves leadership responsibilities, staff support, and cross-department collaboration to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Director to integrate diagnostic imaging services with the hospital's core functions.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of imaging services.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives and facilitate staff involvement in departmental and organizational activities.
- Oversee and review the development of monthly staff schedules.
- Provide clinical assistance to staff as well as other departments as required for patient care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Technologist, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Current MRT license from the Texas Medical Board is required.
- Advanced certification in one or more modalities (QM, Mammography, Cardiovascular, CT, MRI) is preferred, but not required.
- BLS certification is required.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
