Description
Position Purpose:
Performs requests for Echocardiograms, Cardiac Doppler and/or Vascular procedures (lower extremity arterial, upper extremity arterial and carotid duplex). Provides direct patient care to all ages of patients, particularly focusing on the adult patient
What You Will Do
- Provides routine cardiovascular services to ensure that patients receive efficient care.
- Maintains department documentation of services rendered in order that patient response can be monitored and so that quality assurance standards will be met.
- Actively takes part in interdepartmental and intradepartmental communications and related programs, facilitating continuity of patient care.
- Maintains department equipment inventory and emergency supplies in order that shortages and malfunctions might be avoided.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least one year working experience in performing adult ultrasound procedures in a hospital work environment.
- Registered Cardiac or Vascular Ultrasound
