As the leader you will:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the imaging department, which includes multiple modalities
- Participate in the strategic planning process for imaging services.
- Ensure effective execution of plans, initiatives, and services to meet established targets/goals.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality improvement, assurance and control programs which include evaluation of costs, patient care, and safety in all areas of responsibility.
- Collaborate and communicate with a variety of physicians, leadership and staff across departments and facilities to ensure optimum patient flow and patient care delivery.
- Develop, implement, and maintain department policies and procedures.
- Work with other imaging leaders to ensure organizational consistency across imaging services.
- Ensure the development and delivery of radiology education to staff to meet competency and compliance requirements.
- Investigate and resolve patient, family, physician, or staff complaints.
- Collaborate with other leadership and staff to resolve issues and prevent future occurrences.
- Adhere to federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the technical and clinical practice of radiology.
- Develops and recommends operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures within approved budget objectives.
WHAT CAN CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR SUCCESS:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (CNMT) issued by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required.
- 5 years of experience in one or more of the following modalities:
- Radiology, Nuclear Med, CT, MRI, DVI or Ultrasound operations that includes experiences in a large complex multi-clinic and multi-physician specialty environment.
- 1 year of supervisory experience in management of staff, budgets, financial management, radiologic Service operations, and multiple radiology functions.
