Imaging Informatics Manager (PACS / RIS), Hybrid role
Position Summary:
In your new role as Manager for Imaging Systems, you’ll provide leadership, direction, and supervision of the Imaging Informatics team. You’ll also be responsible for the maintenance of various imaging informatics systems including web, interface, clinical applications and software support. Manage project planning, project design, documentation, training and installation. Lead project implementation with vendors and relevant hospital staff.
Specific Responsibilities, In brief:
- Supervise and Lead Imaging Systems staff.
- Coordinate all new system installs and system upgrades
- Lead and guide Systems Analysts in the preparation and implementation of systems
- Work with users to understand and define needs, gather and analyze data and recommend solutions
- Manage Imaging Systems budget
- Manage imaging systems projects as assigned from start to finish including development of specifications, creation of project plan, tracking and reporting milestones,
- Lead software standardization efforts
- Provide mentoring and training to staff on Imaging Informatics technologies
- Train personnel in new applications and changes to systems.
Required skills:
7 years PACS, RIS, Health Care Imaging, Imaging Informatics. 2 years in a managerial / supervisory role
Helpful skills/certifications:
Certified Imaging Informatics Professional, ARRT (R) or NMTCB (CNMT) or ARDMS
