We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CARDIAC and/or Vascular Sonographer to join our healthcare team on Fridays from 930am -3:00 pm and additional vacation coverage.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, with a focus on cardiology. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound. This role is critical in providing accurate imaging that supports patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and assist in developing patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of ultrasound procedures performed.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to ensure precise imaging and reporting.
- Stay updated with advancements in sonography technology and techniques through continuous education and training.
Qualifications
- Certification in Sonography from an accredited program.
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to sonography and cardiology.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
