This position is based in Ithaca
Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Traveling Cardiac Sonographer to float between multiple sites, including Ithaca Mall, Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls, and Cortland. The ideal candidate must have reliable transportation and be comfortable commuting between locations. Mileage reimbursement is provided when traveling between sites.
Position Details:
- Work Schedule: 5 eight-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday.
- No call and no weekends required.
- Patient Population: Adults (18 years and older).
- Start Date: Desired start date is 12/30.
- Epic Experience: Preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Administer cardiac stress tests.
- Conduct pre- and post-imaging during stress tests.
- Capture accurate post-test images within 90 seconds.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Must have transportation to commute to Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls and Cortland (approximately 40 minutes from Ithaca).
- Schedule provided weeks in advance.
- Must be experienced in performing stress tests and cardiac imaging for adult patients.
