Seeking:
Seeking a Cardiac Sonographer who is comfortable performing echocardiography. Looking for a detail oriented, organized and dedicated individual who is comfortable operating in different clinical environments, can adapt to the procedures as needed and travel to cities in Kansas, Iowa, and Arkansas.
The Job:
Prepare exam room. Explain method of examination and position patient.
Assess the patient's status and needs, complete appropriate diagnostic techniques/tests to ascertain patient's on-going condition and perform the necessary interventions.
Review and evaluate completed tests for quality, completeness, and type of test ordered. Ensure quality images. Coordinate the preparation of images/exams and needed documentation for physician partners.
Monitor equipment reliability and safety. Report issues and/or repairs or service due.
Actively participate in quality initiatives, including patient satisfaction, patient care, and workflow.
Represent Boone Heart Institute at our partner clinics with a professional, pleasant demeanor and a can-do attitude to support clinic staff as they care for their patient population.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- Cardiac Sonographer credentials (ARDMS, CCI or equivalent)
- Vascular registry, preferred
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required
- Associate's Degree, preferred
- At least one (1) year of ultrasound experience, preferred
