General Description

Perform OB/GYN ultrasound exams under the supervision of the physicians. Perform OB ultrasound exams on first, second and third trimester patients using 2-D, 3-D, 4-D and transvaginal ultrasound. Perform GYN ultrasound using 2-D and 3-D TVUS, Color Doppler and pulsed Doppler. It is expected for the sonographer to review patient history, obtain clinical information and confirm orders for medical necessity. Sonographer is responsible for producing high quality images on each patient per protocol. Provide a positive patient experience. Our sonography department is accredited by AIUM.

Full time position.

Qualifications

Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited sonography program.

BLS/CPR preferred.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged standing, walking bending and reaching. Requires eye hand coordination and manual dexterity. Heavy lifting up 50 pound.

Able to move ultrasound machine.
